As Executive VP and COO at Playa Hotels & Resorts, he led expansion and repositioning efforts, driving growth. As VP of Marriott International, he expanded the brand’s presence in Latin America, adding 21 hotels in seven years.
A Cornell graduate with a Leadership Program from Stanford, Alexander’s strategic insight and leadership skills have earned him recognition for leading high-performing teams, implementing innovative strategies, and enhancing profitability. His legacy is one of transformative leadership in the global hospitality industry.
With 30 years in the hospitality industry, Manuel Antonio Pérez Alpuche has held executive roles at renowned hotel chains like Hilton and Grupo Posadas. As General Manager, he successfully opened over 20 flagship hotels in key destinations. Later, he became President of Grupo Incorpora and co-founded AGM Global Hospitality, where he restructured hotel corporations and improved profitability.
Manuel holds degrees in Philosophy and Business Administration, an MBA with honors, and certifications from Harvard and Stanford. His extensive managerial expertise and global strategic vision have established him as a key figure in driving growth and operational excellence in hospitality.
With nearly 30 years of experience in hotel finance, José María Ribas Conrado has held prominent executive positions at Playa Hotels & Resorts and Barceló Hotels, overseeing financial operations across the Caribbean, Central America, Turkey, and Spain. As Director at Playa, he managed the financial performance of multiple properties, while at Barceló, he oversaw 13 hotels in the Dominican Republic.
José holds a degree in Economics and dual MBAs in Hospitality Management and Business Administration. His extensive financial expertise enables hotel investors and operators to maximize opportunities, driving sustainable growth, efficiency, and profitability in the hospitality sector.
Federico Moreno-Nickerson brings extensive experience in business development and marketing, having served as VP of Business Development at Hyatt and holding key roles at Apple Leisure Group. With 13 years as Product Development Director at Classic Vacations and nearly a decade as Senior Marketing Director at Four Seasons, he has a strong track record of driving growth.
Federico also founded the Promotion Committee of the Mexico City Hotel Association and co-authored the strategic marketing plan that boosted the city's global profile. A graduate of the Conrad N. Hilton College, he holds bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration and marketing.
Since 1983, Casey Owens has been a driving force in the travel industry, instrumental in growing Mayan Palace (now Vidanta) to over $1 billion in annual sales. He was also the visionary behind the success of the Choices program at Unlimited Vacation Club. Having had offices in England, Ireland, Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean, Casey attracts top-tier talent in sales and marketing. His leadership has driven major expansions in real estate and fractional ownership at properties throughout Mexico.
Casey built high-performing teams and elevated the Grupo Mayan brand. Ranking 5th worldwide in sales, Casey remains the only independent marketer to exceed $1 billion in vacation ownership sales in one year, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
